I met Dom and Tonya at a lovely location in Bracknell for their pre-wedding shoot. We hadn’t officially met in person until this point as Tonya had seen my work on the internet after a google search, we had a catch up over FaceTime and then they booked! So it was lovely to finally meet them. We hit it off straight away chatting about the week just gone as we walked down into the park.
I could try right away they both loved affection so I knew they holding hands, hugs and kissing wasn’t going to be an issue for them. Although they are not getting married until Spring next year at Cain Manor in Surrey they wanted to have an Autumn feel to their shoot so I made sure we chose somewhere with lots of leaves. It’s always lovely to start with some simple walking shots. This gets everybody warmed up (included me!) so we can then move on to different poses. I use the word ‘pose’ loosely but a bit of direction goes along way.
After half an hour we were all happy we had capture a mixture of different things so headed back to the cars. I absolutely love meeting my couples as their wedding day gets closer and being able to deliver them a selection of images from their shot they are going to treasure is priceless.
Looking forward to their wedding day.
