After having to move their wedding twice due to covid, Dom and Tonya’s wedding was finally happening!! Massive ‘yay!’ I was so happy for them. Tonya looked stunning in her dress from Chobham Bride and shoes from Jimmy Choo. The excitement in the room as they were getting ready was unreal! Equally for the boys….Dom couldn’t wait to see Tonya! It was great working with MUA, Melissa again – one of the best in the industry.
Their ceremony was beautiful and Sonning Flowers had dressed the venue so well. The flowers looked gorgeous! Cain Manor lends itself to 2 photographers really well as the balcony in the ceremony room is a must to be photographed at – especially when the couple walk down the aisle! Being able to capture the emotion, excitement and laughter throughout the day was amazing. Emma and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
After some group photos we left Dom and Tonya to have time with their guests. This was a great time for us to capture lots of those natural moments between friends and family. The energy throughout the day was insane! Both sets of parents danced their way into the wedding breakfast – oh yes! Followed by the biggest cheers I’ve heard in a whileas Dom and Tonya entered.
We capture the speeches…..(nice T-shirt Tonya!) before heading out with the wedding party to chase down those golden hour moments. The light was amazing and we had the best time together. While capturing the first dance, all I can say is, boy, I wish I could dance that well. Everyone there had the rhythm of a professional. Strictly – eat your heart out. We didn’t leave until late into the night and to be honest, I could have got on that dance floor myself at the end of the evening!
Thanks for a fabulous time,
love, Lauren x
