It was great hanging out with Will and Harriet this evening in their home village in Hartley Wintney. We decided to head over to the common as the sun was lower in the sky, the light was perfect….’golden hour’ had started. Both are friends of mine so I was delighted and honoured when they asked me to photograph their wedding.
If ever two lovely humans were meant to be together….it was these two. I hardly had to direct, they just made each other laugh pretty much all the time which made my job easy. We did have some hilarious moments when I was asking them to say a colour, animal and make of car together – they had to say the same word at the same time. Believe it or not they got 2 out of 3! I was very impressed and captured some lovely moments.
Another moment I will not forget in a hurry is when I asked one of them to fold up my reflector. Will obviously wanted to prove he could and after several attempts…gave up! Harriet then had a go, was so close….but no. We did have a good laugh afterwards before heading into the open for a few more photographs.
Below are some photographs from a shoot.
