It was lovely seeing Warren and Carmen again after such a long time. Ahhh, I remember the time when I could have couples around to look at my work, hold my albums and chat through their wedding photography! At the moment I’m doing it via zoom which is actually really fun. We arrived at Lillibrook Manor an hour before sunset so we could photograph in the lovely golden hour light. After a catch up about where things were wedding wise we started photographing down the long driveway which created such nice shadows as the sun was setting.
After this we ventured inside the gates. We had special permission as no one was on site so it was great having the whole place to ourselves. There are lots of photographic opportunities at Lillibrook and I’m fortunate to have a number of weddings here in the next few years so I’ve very excited to be photographing here so often. There is also, as you walk through the gates an amazing wall of ivy so photographing Warren and Carmen there was a must and I’ll definitely be using this as a backdrop on their wedding day.
We spent around 40 minutes taking photographs before ending with some shots both wanted dressed up in the sports they both love to watch. They wanted to do this as a backup so if they need to move their wedding date due to the latest restrictions they are going to use an image from this to notify their guests.
As sunset set we headed back to our cars. I’m really looking forward to their winter wedding next year. Below is a selection of images from our time together.
