Venue: Stanlake Park Wine Estate
Hands up who would love to get married on a wine estate?! I’m mean…honestly Stanlake Park has to be one of the best venues. The scenery is beautiful and when I photographed my first wedding there last year I fell in love with the place. Every time I go there I find somewhere else great to photograph and no matter what the season the backdrop changes beautifully.
The Stanlake team have been busy making the venue even better than it is already….it was like they read my mind if truth be told. They have a newly renovated bridal preparation suite which is conveniently located at the end of the ceremony room meaning brides can make a grand entrance without a hint of getting wet on a rainy day!
The improvements currently being made to the barn (where wedding receptions are held) is amazing. They have replaced one of the bricked walls with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors. All in keeping with the current decor and looks fantastic. It lets in so much light it will make photographing the speeches and all the action inside a breeze. In fact I think that was one of the first things I said to Jonny when he showed me! (Always thinking about light!)
They also have new flooring installed (heated in the winter) and a large patio area which will be lovely for guests to relax with drinks and canapés. They asked me to go along and photograph the bridal suite and the current building work still going on (before lockdown!) at the barn to keep their wedding couples updated on the progress.
I have a few weddings booked for this year and next at Stanlake so cannot wait to see it all finished and filled with wedding guests. Below are some images taken on the day…….start getting excited!
