Date: October 2018
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
I was in Bracknell for my family portrait shoot with the Bezzant Family. We started early on Sunday morning to avoid the crowds in the park so we had most of it to roam around in. Pure bliss! They had brought the shoot as a present for their parents who were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary so with four kids and six adults – I had a full shoot ahead of me.
I always start with a ‘warm-up’ and by this I don’t mean a 5km around the park! It’s just a nice and easy way of warming up into the shoot, relaxing everyone and works great with kids! Earlier in the morning I’d found a lovely area, shady (as the sun was out) full of autumn leaves which I knew was going to look great.
We started with some group shots of everyone after discussing with Katie about what she wanted this was one of the shots we were going to nail. By this time the kids were fully warmed up so I then started to focus on some individual photographs. We then moved onto group shots before having some real fun with the leaves! Despite there being not a cloud in the sky (Photographers really love some clouds!) during the shoot the locations I’d used were perfect – making the light amazing. Hats off to the parents as well who had some fantastic Autumn coloured outfits for their children! I’m absolutely loving the photographs.
After capturing lots of images I then left everyone at the hot drinks van……I’ve been told his food is great too.
Thanks for all the fun. Below is a selection of images from the morning.
