I was super excited for today. Daisy had contacted me long ago to see if I was available for her wedding and I wasn’t, but then covid had other plans and they had to reschedule their wedding. Daisy then got back in contact with me with their new date….and I was available! (YAY!) so they booked me straight away.
Oh the day, I was with Daisy and her 3 bridesmaids in the morning. Oh boy did we have a good time, there was champagne (I didn’t have a glass), lots of laughter and I was shown Daisy’s hen party video. Well I’ve her in a whole new light now! My 2nd photographer Cheryl was with the guys. Things were going well until one of the ushers realised he didn’t have any trousers. Oh boy.
Meanwhile Daisy was heading to the church! The church was buzzing with family and friends and the service was lovely. Outside was a fabulous confetti throw – literally millions of tiny dried petals and lots of congratulations! The wedding party then headed to the Tithe Barn part of the Olde Bell in Hurley for the reception. The bridesmaids did have one job to do as soon as they left the church. Daisy had instructed them to drive by MacDonalds and pick up some chicken nuggets! I loved that!!
The rest of the afternoon/evening was filled with laughter, some tears during the speeches and some magical fun with the Magician Jon and Daisy has asked to come to entertain guests. England was also playing in the semi-final of the Euro Cup so most of the guys were watching that!
Thank you so much for asking me to be your photographer! One of the best weddings ever with super people. Below are a selection of images from the day.
