What a gorgeous day at Wasing Park for George and Zoe’s wedding. Elise, my 2nd photographer met George at Kitt’s Cottage a beautiful cottage on site at Wasing and I was with Zoe in the main part of Wasing Park. The morning was buzzing, the music was going and the fizz was popping! I would highly recommend brides and grooms have a playlist organised for the morning – you can’t beat music while getting ready. Zoe’s makeup was done by the brilliant Natasha Wiggins and her bridal dress came from the fabulous Gillian Million located in Teddington and shoes from Guess. She looked a million dollars! I just loved the pockets in her dress. George’s suit which looked lush was from Hawes and Curtis.
Their ceremony was held in the church within the grounds at Wasing and was simply gorge! After the confetti shot and some group shots, the happy couple had time with their guests. This is the perfect time to capture natural, candid shots of friends and family too! I was holding off with their couple portraits as the sun was peaking through the clouds so it looked like we might get some golden hour time later. Yes!
After the speeches – which were so funny, we ventured out chasing down golden hour! In the final part of our couples shoot the sun made its way through and we captured some stunning shots of Zoe and George within the grounds. It pays off to be patient! Their wedding was one of the few I had done from start to finish due to the covid restrictions so when it came to the party we were in for a real treat! Ever thought of hiring a DJ and a sax player? GET ONE! Ellis was amazing and had everyone on the dance floor. A big must at weddings and it was great to hear live music again! Thanks for the memories.
