It was a delight to see Ollie and Marilie again for their pre-wedding shoot at Stirrups Hotel in Bracknell. Due to Covid19 they had already had to move their wedding date so had gone through the upset and frustration of having to re-organise their wedding again. They had decided to split their ceremony and reception because getting married was so important to them so are holding this in August and then their reception next year.
They are a fantastic couple and were nervous but excited for our shoot together. Most couples are like this so if you are reading this and have a pre-wedding shoot booked with me please don’t worry! It isn’t scary, we make it fun and most of all it is relaxed. We started with some walking shots, just to loosing up those nerves and before long they nearly forgot I was photographing them. I also work through posing with couples…..I don’t mean wooden type posing – no-one wants that but just some tips and tricks which will help their images stand out. It is also a great way for any couples who are not as confident in front of the camera to start feeling more confident. Please don’t think a selfie will be the same as your pre-wedding or wedding photographs – it won’t I promise!
Jason the Manager at Stirrups had kindly allowed us to use their grounds (as they are beautiful) so we headed to the long grass at the back. As we had time I even took out the flash and created a little ‘golden hour’ for the couple which looks great in the images. It is safe to say they are really looking forward to their wedding ceremony at Warbrook House in Eversley and I cannot wait to start photographing couples in love again!
Below are some images from our time together.
