Below are a selection of questions we are often asked when clients book their portrait session – however no question is a silly question and if it isn’t listed here please get in contact
Please contact Lauren either via the contact form or by phone to book your session.
Yes. We frequently travel within Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey as part of the Portrait Packages we offer. We are very happy to travel anywhere with the UK and Internationally – prices are quoted on request. Shoots inside London require an additional charge to cover congestion charge. Each package includes a certain amount of travel. If you are unsure please contact Lauren for a quote.
We can shoot in our local studio in Bracknell, Berkshire but Lauren specialises in location photography making the most of the surroundings and natural light available. We often shoot in parks, client’s gardens and woodlands which make for great photographs due to the endless opportunities available.
A portrait session for Packages 2 and 3 lasts an hour. Package 1 last 1.5 hours. If you would like to add extra time then this can be arranged before we see you.
Your retouched images from your shoot will be uploaded to a client protected gallery within 2 weeks – from here you can download your files or share with friends and family who can also buy prints.
You can wear what ever you choose, however we would suggest avoid wearing white if shooting in the studio (as you will merge into the background!). Shooting without socks in a studio also looks better (although not compulsory!) so make sure those toes look good! On-location shoots we suggest dressing for the environment and whatever is most comfortable. You can of course change outfits half way through should you be unable to decide what to wear on the day.
Normally we should book 2 dates for your portrait session – the second is a back-up should it be raining on your 1st date. This is usually sufficient.
On the day you will meet Lauren at your chosen location. Lauren will then walk with you to particular areas to photograph. It is a very relaxed and flexible session so if you have any ideas she would love to hear them.
Of course we do – dogs are very popular. Please bring some treats and any toys your dog loves to help!
