Location: The Odney Club, Cookham
Season: Spring (just!), March
Last weekend I was busy with family portrait shoots and editing at home. Those are the weekends I love – when I’m out and about meeting new people, photographing….and it gives me an excuse to be a big kid again! One family I had the pleasure spending time with was the Hicks Family. We went to The Odney Club in Cookham near Maidenhead. I’d been here recently to photograph the John Lewis Roofraisers Awards evening so it was lovely to return so soon and for the weather to be dry. Kirsty had also invited her sister and her two girls so with three lively girls and the grounds of Odney we had a fantastic time exploring and running around.
As you know by now my photography sessions are relaxed and I just loving getting the children interacting with each other, with the environment and generally just having fun. We spent time in the daffodils, and feeding the ducks in the river – I was the only one to nearly fall in when trying to get the right angle for some photographs……well I will do pretty much anything to get ‘the’ shot! The three girls really enjoyed their time, posing on the bridge, against some interesting walls and running up and down the pathway. Even though the sun didn’t make an appearance we still had a lovely time. After-which they all went for a well earned lunch inside The Odney Club while I headed home to start uploading and editing the images.
Absolutely loved the energy from today, below are some of the final images – they are SO cute right.
