I was lucky enough to have been asked by Carley the owner of CG Chair Covers and Floristry to photograph their beautiful set-ups for Ascot Racecourse’s new wedding brochure. I was working with amazing suppliers in the wedding industry and it felt so special to be part of such a great team.

We had 3 rooms to make up and photograph, along with bridal portrait shots with dresses and flowers. It was going to be a full on day but we couldn’t wait! Despite having to social distance due to the latest guidelines we still managed to produce the images Ascot and we all wanted. The three rooms which were decorated each hold a different amount of guests and can be ‘dressed’ in any way you choose. Carley had worked so hard the days before the shoot – prepping flowers, candles and chair covers and everything looked amazing. There were tall flowers in the middle of tables, beautiful candles surrounding them and a view of the racecourse which would be lovely on a wedding day. Everything had been placed to perfection and it was a pleasure to be able to capture it.

The models were amazing too. It was a really windy day and so brought a chill in the air but they were so professional and just wanted to get the right shots which we did with ease. Lastly we were outside the front of the Grandstand photographing a couple of large flower wreaths in the golden sunshine. They did have to be held up by the team because the wind wanted to take them away!

I’m really happy with how the images have come out and so is the team. Keep your eyes peels for images in Ascot Racecourse’s latest newsletter, on their website and of course their new wedding brochure.

What an amazing experience! Below are a selection of images.
