Adam + Sarah – Micro Wedding at Warbrook House

Date: October 2020
Season: Autumn
Venue: Warbrook House, Eversley
Photographer: Lauren Mitchell Photography

Another micro wedding for me today at Warbrook House. Having photographed quite a few recently they have been so fun, relaxed and full of love. It has been great to see that despite the current restrictions couples have been determined to get married. Adam and Sarah were no exception – even when the numbers were reduced from 30 to 15, they still decided to tie the knot.

Sarah found me online so after a zoom meeting to ‘meet’ and talk about their wedding it was lovely to see them on their special day. They had decided to get married in a church in Aldershot while also getting their youngest baptised – so a double celebration! They had a gorgeous ceremony full of laughter and love and I had the opportunity to move around a lot more than normal due to reduced numbers which was a treat!

Despite some rain in the morning, the rain clouds held off until we headed to Warbrook House for their reception. When we arrived the heavens opened but that didn’t stop the wedding party from celebrating with some groups shots and their wedding meal. Even with just 15 guests the room seemed filled which is something I have noticed the more I have photographed micro weddings the past few months.

The sheer determination of couples that have decided to carry on, I must admit has surprised and impressed me. I am so grateful to have been asked to document these extraordinary weddings and it has certainly made me realise that it is not necessarily about the numbers but instead love wins. Thank you to all my couples for their support during this challenging time. If there are any couples looking for a wedding photographer to cover their micro wedding at the moment – please do drop me a mail and we can have a chat.

Love Lauren x
